The first charity, Sapper Support, whose mission statement is “always there when needed, to alleviate the suffering caused by PTSD and associated mental issues. To give aid to those who need our help regardless of background or status”. Willowbank Hospice, Peter’s second chosen cause  is a local, independent charity located in Prescot, Merseyside. It cares for patients with life limiting diseases living in the St. Helens, Knowsley and surrounding areas. His third worthy cause is The Royal School for the Blind in Liverpool. This well know Liverpool school is the oldest specialist school of its kind in the UK.

During 2018 Peter plans three runs in support of CLIC Sargent, the Uk’s leading cancer charity for children. Their aims quoting from their own website  “We know that for young lives, when the doctor says cancer, normal life stops. Cancer affects every part of life – relationships, confidence, money, school, work. CLIC Sargent care teams will fight tirelessly to limit the damage cancer causes. They will listen, and ask the right questions, so that they can provide the right support, tailored to each young person and family”.
