Firstly, many apologies for the confusion which has occurred over recent weeks as a result of changes made by the Province.
Earlier in the week I tried to remedy this by creating a new email address for myself as Group Chairman and also giving you notice of new email addresses for the Vice Chairman and Secretary.
Unfortunately, I was unaware that Yahoo mail do not like people sending emails to large groups of people. Evidently they consider this to be business rather than personal and expect users to pay.
I sent over 200 emails last Wednesday from my new Yahoo address and 75% of them did not reach the people who were supposed to receive them.
It was back to the drawing board and I have now created a Gmail address which I hope will work for you and for me.
If you received the email I sent last week please disregard the email address I gave you for myself. My new email address for the group is now
I’m hoping that we have no further problems and below I set out the stop press which I intended for you to receive earlier in the week.
Again please accept my apologies and amend your address books so that the emails from you do reach me.
As there are several important matters to bring to your attention, or to remind you of, I am sending this is a supplement to the October BULLETIN.
Group e mail addresses.
Some of you will be aware that as a result of the Province moving their website to a new server there have been some difficulties with the email addresses of Group Officers. I have therefore changed my email address and
so have the Vice Chairman and Secretary.
Until further notice please use the following email addresses if you wish to contact us:
firstname.lastname@example.org for myself,
for the Group Vice Chairman
email@example.com for the Group Secretary
Please add these to your address books as it looks as if our original email addresses are not going to be reinstated.
